Membership Retention Requirements
- Compliance with Focus Bulacan's rules and regulations. Read the rules and regulations HERE.
- Attendance in at least one (1) Focus Bulacan PhotoMeet or activity in a calendar year. If member fails to attend an activity for a year, his/her membership will be revoked, regardless if he/she has paid membership fees. Exemptions apply for members who have relocated and are now based in other countries or provinces.
- Participation in at least one (1) Focus contest or submission for a Focus exhibit in a calendar year. If member fails to join either a contest or exhibit for a year, his/her membership will be revoked, regardless if he/she has paid membership fees.
- Continued settlement of membership fees. Fees will be collected annually. If member has more than a year's worth of unpaid membership dues, his/her membership will be revoked, regardless if he/she is an active participant in activities or contests.
Grounds for Cancellation of Membership
- Failure to fulfill membership retention requirements
- Continuous / non-resolution of conflict with other Focus Bulacan members. While conflicts or disagreements may occur because of differences in personalities or other issues, we strongly advise members to resolve them and avoid it happening again. A Focus officer may help mediate in conflict resolution, should the concerned parties request. Refusal to resolve conflicts or continued discord with other members will result to membership of the involved member being revoked.
- Personal issues that may negatively reflect on Focus Bulacan and put the organization in a bad light
- Any form of cheating in Focus contests and features - such as but not limited to - privately asking for or influencing votes, submitting entries that do not conform to mechanics or fairness, claiming ownership of photos taken by other photographers, among others.
- Disclosing information concerning Focus plans, discussions, and other group matters to other clubs or entities
- Any action deemed to be detrimental or intentionally done to undermine the interest of Focus Bulacan
