For Focus photographer Erick Mendiola, the journey started in street photography and by some twist of fate - or deserved luck - he jumped into the world of events. Today he is a sought-after wedding shooter, and recently put up an events company to better accommodate clients. The leap of faith has paid off, from hobbyist to pro, from the street to the confines of halls and hotels.
