Quite possibly, most probably the best contest we've had so far. Here's hoping better entries and contests are in the offing in the future. Kudos to all the participants of our FOCUS theme contest. The voters really had a hard time picking just three photos from the field. Just like in any contest, there will be winners, and there will be those left out. We thank all who voted, especially our guest judges, (conceptual photographer) Chino Sardea and (photography professor) Regemrei Bernardo. Your review and input are much appreciated! It's time to level-up! :) July 2014 Theme Contest "Focus" entries (click thumbnails to view in full) Voting Period : 24-30 July 2014 Votes can be viewed at Facebook comment box below.  As you may already know, we held our First Anniversary [FOCUSED] Photo Exhibit recently at Robinsons Place Malolos. It was a big success, a well-attended event that opened up a lot of people's eyes to the photos of our members. We conducted a contest simultaneously with the event by asking exhibit-goers to pick their favorite photo among the 60 photos included in the exhibit. They could only vote once, and only for one photo. A total of 824 votes were qualified while about a hundred more were disqualified (for reasons like incomplete voter info, or for voting for more than one entry).  After tabulating the votes, we can now reveal the Top 5, and ultimately, the People's Choice winner. Here they are... 5th Place : "Crepuscule" by Mhoie Mendoza  4th Place : "Raging Torrent" by Jer Sandel  3rd Place : "Flock, Fort and Fall" by Jay Salvador  2nd Place : "Ocean of Emotions" by Chi Lopez  1st Place : "New Perspective" by Chi Lopez  CONGRATULATIONS to the Top 5. Competition is fun
