October 2016 PhotoMeet Contest : Scott Kelby Calumpit Photowalk

We're not going to prolong the wait of the participants, for sure they've been anxiously wanting to know which entries made it to the top. Thanks to everyone who voted most especially to guest judge sir Edwin Tuyay. Without the voters, there would be no winners!

Before we reveal the winners (or before you scroll down), we'd like to clarify the situation : there were two Calumpit photowalks for the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. Both are organized by Focus Bulacan. For Photowalk 1, a total of 18 entries were correctly emailed then uploaded to ViewBug, and put to a vote here. For Photowalk 2, only 2 (yes, TWO) entries made it (and four disqualified via incorrect upload). For Photowalk 2, we didn't put the entries to a public vote and instead asked guest judge Edwin Tuyay to just pick which of the two is the better photo. It was an adjustment made on-the-fly as we were also surprised (and disappointed) that only two entries were submitted to ViewBug for Walk 2.

CONGRATULATIONS, Gilbert and Jay! For the Scott Kelby Photowalk contest, 1st Place gets an extra 20 points, 2nd Place gets 14, 3rd Place gets 10, 4th Place (undisclosed) gets 6, and 5th Place (also undisclosed) gets 4 points for the 2016 Photographer Of The Year competition. Participants automatically get 3 points for submitting entries.

Gilbert and Jay each gets a Capdase mKeeper camera bag as prize (that they may claim in a Focus Bulacan event on November 6). Good luck on the worldwide contest!
